My Story

Why I Started This

I started Michael Martinez Finance for two reasons: to build a resource and community for anyone who wants to get smarter with credit cards, travel hacking, and building real wealth. And to document my own journey in business, finance, and real estate as I figure things out alongside you.

I’ve spent over five years working in corporate finance for a Fortune 500 company, managing budgets and learning firsthand how money moves inside large organizations. Outside the 9-5, I’ve owned an ATM business and I’m now a real estate investor.

I’ve always been obsessed with credit cards, travel hacking, investing, and building businesses. Now I want to share what I’ve learned, and what I’m still learning, with you.

Managing your finances can feel overwhelming. My goal here is to make it simple, actionable, and practical so you can run the numbers yourself and build a financial life that actually works for you.
